Shipping Policy
Asclepius Press charges extra for shipping. All United States book orders are shipped via media mail. Packages will be mailed within twenty-four hours of ordering (except for in the case of a holiday as recognized by the post office).
Cost of shipping to readers in the USA: $6.15
Cost of shipping when you order $50: FREE
International orders will incur a one hundred dollar shipping fee. Your country may have its own fees for foreign imports and Asclepius Press is not responsible for these fees.
Some books are paint-per-order. Expect 1-3 days delayed in shipping for these books, and books ordered alongside them.
Return Policy
Within our indie bookstore, we uphold a strict no-returns policy. Once purchased, all sales are final. When you choose our books, you agree to this policy. Asclepius Press will be your steadfast companion on your reading journey, but refunds are not part of our agreement.

Who was Asclepius?
Asclepius (also spelled Asklepios) is the legendary god of healing from Greco-Roman mythology. Asclepius was a famed, great physician whose miraculous gifts came from being the son of Apollo. His craft became very successful, and eventually too successful. Zeus struck him down as he dared to heal the dead to bring them back to life. This story was written by Hyginus, a slave freed by the Roman Emperor Augustus who became a prolific writer.
Of course, Asclepius' story is also written in the stars. You may know Asclepius as the '13th zodiac'. He can be seen as Ophiuchus, the man who grasps the constellation Serpens. He is situated between Scorpio and Sagittarius on the ecliptic.
His staff, encircled by a snake, has stood the test of time to become a modern symbol for medicine.

She's been recognized as a runner up in Vocal Media's Return of the Night Owl Challenge for her short story Escape Artists, a poignant exploration into Kentucky's economic transition from coal mines to racehorses. You can read her short stories here.
Alice's love for horses and the ocean infuses her work with passion and authenticity. Her unconventional journey to becoming an author prioritized travel and journaling.
